Breef | Referral Program Terms

Breef Referral Program (Beta) - Program Referral Terms. These Referral Terms (“Referral Terms”) apply to all users of the Breef Referral Program (the “Referral Program”).

Short Version (What you need to know)

This is a trial (Beta) Referral Program, launched by Breef Inc. (“Breef”) which is subject to change. These Referral Terms are subject to Breef’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Terms not defined herein take their meaning from Breef’s Terms of Use and/or Privacy Policy.

These Referral Terms will be updated from time to time. It’s up to you to ensure you read the latest version.

Long Version (The legal)

You acknowledge, agree and understand the following:

1. How the Referral Program Works

In order to be paid for a referral, you must be a ‘Registered User’ on the Breef Platform. This means you must have an account on Breef when you refer someone to the Referral Program.

As a registered user of Breef, you are able to refer Clients to Breef. In order to do so, you must:

Make the referral to Breef using the referral form “Referral Form”; and
Comply with these Referral Terms

For each company you refer to Breef, you will receive a “Referral Reward”, as defined herein, when that company “Referred Client” (i) signs a contract with an agency on Breef through the Service, and (ii) makes at least $10,000 in project payments on that project.

2. How to Earn a Referral

Step 1: Refer a company so that they become a “Referred Client” using the Referral Form.

Step 2: That company must not currently be a Client on Breef. This means they do not have an account. If they currently are not a Client on Breef, then they will become a Referred Client after Step 3.

Step 3: When that company creates an account on Breef after being introduced to Breef via the Referral Email, they will become a Referred Client when they (i) create a project on Breef, and (ii) sign an agreement with Agency Talent Introduced through Breef for that project.

3. How to Get Paid on a Referral

You will get paid the Referral Reward once the Referred Client has paid their first $10,000 on a project, within thirty days of that threshold being paid by the Referred Client.

4. What is the Current Referral Reward?

For referring parties (the person/agency making the referral): $1,000 Visa Gift card or equivalent

For referred parties (the Referred Client doing the project) : $1,000 off your first project on Breef

5. What you are Permitted to do

You are permitted to Refer users that you know personally and have their authority to share their email address as a connection.

6. What you are not Permitted to do

You must not:

Publish referral information on other websites, social media etc in order to promote the Referral Program to achieve a Referred Client
Add people to the Referral Program who you do not know
Breach any SPAM or other privacy laws

Undertaking any of the above in breach of the Referral Terms will result in an invalid referral, and you will not be credited for such referrals. You will also be removed from the Referral Program.

7. Legal Terms

Breef expects the following:

You must comply with all relevant laws and regulations. These Referral Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
Breef’s decision is final and binding on all matters relating to the Referral Program.
Your relationship with Breef is of independent contractor, not employee or otherwise.
You are responsible for all taxes relating to the Referral Program and Referral Rewards. You must comply with Breef’s requirements before receiving a Referral Reward payout, including providing us with tax documentation that we request.
The Referral Program is only available to legal residents of the United States of America.
You agree that we can use your name and likeness to promote the Referral Program
Breef can terminate the Referral Program at any time for any reason. If we terminate the Referral Program, all Referral Rewards unpaid will not be payable and no future Referral Rewards will be payable.
