Breef is seeking a Marketing Strategist to join our dynamic, quickly growing team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing client touch points within a project lifecycle including planning, retention and general communications.
The ideal candidate has had prior experience in a sales or business development setting within a digital agency or media company. They love connecting with people and will ultimately be Breef's brand representative among users, both new and repeat. While experienced in client relations, they also have strong familiarity of the marketing + digital needs of a modern brand. This individual is eager to make an impact within a fast-growth startup.

Your day to day is to…
- Own the customer relationship post-sales, with a focus on retention and expansion
- Serve as the marketing expert among our brand users, supporting them with project needs, scoping and budgeting
- Expertly position and communicate Breef's value proposition to clients whether by phone, email or in-person meetings
- Identify, outline + drive a client’s marketing needs; turning them into revenue generating projects
- Assist with the day-to-day management of clients and their respective project / agency needs
- Execute on a client communications strategy that includes project comms and regular re-engagement tactics
- Leverage analytics and data to track performance, revenue and pipeline. Communicate and report key account metrics internally
- Work within a CRM to stay on track of opportunities, data individual performance and client needs
- Work with our sales, support and operations teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Act as a customer liaison to internal team, acting as the customer voice and advocating for product improvements based on customer feedback
- Embody the mission and vision of Breef with an understanding of how and why we do what we do
You'll be successful in this role if you have...
- 2-4+ years of sales or business development experience within digital agency or media company setting
- Strong familiarity or exposure to the marketing + digital needs of a modern brand.
- Knowledge of the needs of emerging companies and growing start-ups, with the ability to translate those needs into actionable deliverables
- Excellent communication skills — verbal, presentation & written skills
- Experience in maintaining and updating a CRM
- Understanding of, and experience with, modern + remote workplace tools (Google Suite, calendar booking systems, Asana, Slack, email workflow systems, etc.)
