How much does Breef cost?

Breef is free to join for both brands and agencies.

To receive tailored pitches from vetted agencies, there is a $99 first-time project posting fee. This fee covers scope assistance, agency curation, vetted agency pitches and project management (pitch calls, contracts, payments + more).

The client is also responsible for the agreed project cost if an agency partner is selected.

How do I start a project?

All projects begin with a scope. Our platform allows you to outline project goals, deliverables, and budgets that agencies reference when submitting a pitch. If you’re in the planning phase, our project planning tools and Marketing Strategists can guide you every step of the way.

On your Breef Dashboard, you can start a project, manage existing projects, connect with your Marketing Strategist, and manage all agency pitches, contracts, payments, and more.

You can get started for free on Breef here.

How long does it take to receive agency pitches?

Once your project is posted, vetted agencies that meet your project requirements are invited to submit a pitch. You will receive agency pitches in your dashboard within 5 business days.

If you need to get started sooner, please contact us at and we will work with you to expedite the timeline.

What happens after I receive agency pitches?

This is the best part! Once you’ve received and reviewed your agency pitches, you’ll connect with your favorite teams on introductory calls. These calls are where you will get to know the team and discuss project details. From there, you will finalize the SOW (scope of work) and select an agency partner for the project.

We know the process of finding an agency can be complex, but we’re here to keep it simple. We’ll bring you great agency pitches, you tell us your top teams — and we handle the rest!

How do project payments work?

All payments for projects and introductions made through Breef must occur through Breef. What constitutes an ‘introduction’ can be found in our Terms of Use here.

Once your project is ready to commence, we will provide you with payment documents and invoice you according to the agreed-upon payment schedule. Breef then pays your agency partner once the funds arrive.

If you have any questions about our payment process, please email

Where will my agency be located?

The Breef Community is made up of agencies from around the world. Brands can request a particular location for their team within their project scope on the platform.

Is Breef available globally?

Yes, we have brands and agencies in over 25 countries. You can post projects from anywhere in the world (subject to local law). The Breef platform is governed by the laws of the United States of America. If you are paying outside of the U.S., let your Marketing Strategist know.

Brands and agencies can contract in whatever jurisdiction they choose; however, you must adhere to Breef’s specific policies around circumventing our service and include our Project Exhibit (including standard terms) in your agreement.
